On Thursday 7 November 2019, the World Mission Day at ETS focussed on the topic Mission to the Jewish People.
We were joined for the day by Richard Gibson, Director of Ministry at Christian Witness to Israel and Philip Amos, a CWI missionary based in London.
The programme began with a welcome and introduction from Dr Alistair Wilson, Coordinator of the ETS Centre for Mission, followed by a sermon by Philip Amos.
This was followed by two sessions led by Richard Gibson: ‘Biblical-theological principles to motivate mission to Jewish people’ and ‘Challenges faced in engaging in mission to Jewish people’.
The day concluded with a time of prayer for world mission.
While the World Mission Days are primarily directed towards the ETS staff and student body, we encourage interested friends to join us, and particularly those who are, or have been, involved in various forms of mission. Please get in touch with us by emailing [email protected] or by using the form below if you hope to attend so that we can ensure that there is sufficient space.

ETS holds four World Mission Days within the academic session. These days, two per semester, are set aside to hear God’s word, explore issues in mission, and spend time in prayer together as staff, students and interested friends.
